This is another one of Laura & David's "Country Living Magazine" lake vacation homes. You will be captivated with the beauty and warmth as soon as you enter "The Deer Pass Lodge". Our home with over 5400 sq.ft. and 7 bedrooms and 5 and 2 half baths is located a mile from Silver Dollar City and 3 miles than to the Indian Point Marina. Our home is private and sits on 2 acres with a large circle driveway and a basketball hoop area for the kids-the dad's who want to do a little one on one. Our home offers panoramic lakeviews throughout and is decorated with wonderful antiques and high quality amenities, including high thread count linens, satellite LCD TV's in the Great Room, Rec Room(Pool Table. Ping Pong Table & Foosball Table), and in 4 Master Suites, 2 Suites with their own deck, plus a large deck off the Great/Dining Rooms, Wireless Broadband Internet, Basketball area, and a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room.
So let me tell you a little about our 7 bedrooms. The 1st Master Suite with King High Poster bed has high vaulted ceilings, a full bath, and a private screened porch for you to enjoy the beautiful lakeviews and sunsets. The 2nd Master Suite with a Log Canopy King bed and private bath has a wonderful round stone wood fireplace to enjoy a romantic evening and you can also step out onto your private deck to watch the sun go down over the lake. The 3rd bedroom has a wonderful antique iron Queen pillowtop Bed. These 3 bedrooms listed above are all on the main floor of the home along with a Great Room that has a 22ft. vaulted ceiling and a stone pellet fireplace. This Great Room has a deluxe Queen sleeper sofa, plus another full length sofa and over-sized chair for you to lounge in. Floor to ceiling windows allows you to take in the panoramic lakeviews. A 52" Plasma TV with 5.1 Surround Sound will be the place to watch your favorite movie. Also, a half-bath is just off the entry & Great Room. A large deck is off the Great Room and has ample seating along with a large commercial stainless gas grill. The sunsets are breathtaking-so have your camera ready. The country dining room with a Shaker table and Windsor chairs(8) is open to the Great Room. The large kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern appliances and cooking/baking dishes necessary to serve up your favorite meal. A second family room with another deluxe Queen sleeper and another dining area table for 6 is just off the dining room room.
Now, let's go upstairs. The landing on the upper floor overlooks the Great Room below. The hall on your right leads you into the 4th bedroom, which is also the 3rd Master Suite with a King bed and vaulted ceilings. This suite also has it's own private bath and a wonderful twin iron daybed(with pull-out trundle)for the extra guest. Bedrooms 5 and 6 share a Jack & Jill bathroom and both have King beds. They have vaulted ceilings and you get to wake up to panoramic lakeviews each morning.
In the basement you have a huge 1400 sq ft. Rec-room with a pro Ping Pong Table, slate Pool Table, Foosball Table, extra seating/dining area, and a twin sleeper + a twin daybed with pull out trundle, and a 1/2 bath. The 7th King Master Suite is also located in the basement. This suite features it's own private full bath and panoramic lakeviews.
